බූ·බිම්තල්, a var. of මාබිම්තල්, Curculigo Finlaysoniana (Amaryll.).

තිඹිරි, a sp. of ebony, Diospyros Embryopteris (Eben.). This tree yields an acid glutinous substance or black resin used for the seams of boats, and as a protection against insects, and its unripe fruit yields tannin, used to preserve fishing nets.
