එම්බා, int. the same as එම්බල but more respectful.

එරා වැටෙනවා, v. i. (එරීවැටෙනවා, to sink and fall), to sink in

එහේ, ad. there, in that place.

එකටෙක කරනවා,v. to render tit for tat, make reprisal, retaliate, requite.

එපා, part. (probably from ඒ පහ – that aside): signifying with first pers. dat. case, not wanted, will not accept; with 2nd pers. nom. case as an auxiliary after the infinitive mood it is prohibitive, as උඹ or උඹලා යන්ට එපා, Go thou or ye not.

එළිපත, එළිපත්ත, n. door-sill, sill, threshold; pl. එලිපත්.

එළ දෙන, n. cow; pl. එළදෙන්නු, (not buffalo cow).

එක්කාසු, a. assembled, collected, එකතුවූ, රැස්වූ.

එල්ලේ, a. straight, in line with.
