අ මර පුරය, n. city of the lmmortals, viz, city of the gods, heaven.

අ ම‍රාවතී, n. Indra's capital, heaven of the gods, ශක්‍රපුරය.

අශ්ව මේධය, n. (the real or ostensible) sacrifice of a horse, අශ්ව පූජාව. A hunthed such entitles to the sovereignty of heaven.

ආකාශ මධ්‍යය, n. mid-air, mid-heaven.

ඉහත්‍කරනවා, v. t. to raise, elevate, upheave, heave, hoist.

උත්තෝලනීය, a. that should be raised, heave (offering).

උත්තෝලනීය වෛද්‍යය, or පූජාව n. heave-offering.

උස්සනවා, v. t. to lift up, raise, heave pre ඉස්සුවා; v. n. ඉස්සීම.

කප්පි චක්‍රය, කප්පි රෝදය, n. pulley-wheel, sheave.

කාම ලෝකය, n. sensuous world: any one of the worlds, including the hells and the six heavens, in which pain or pleasure or desire is felt.

කාමාවචර දිව්‍යලෝකය, n. sensuous heaven.

ඛය, n. the sky, heaven, අහස; organ of sense, ඉන්ද්‍රියය.

ඛේචර, n. pl. quicksilver, රහදිය; magical pills to enable a person to fly to heaven.

ඛේචරයා, n. lit. sky-traveller: applied to any of the heavenly bodies, also an arrow, a cloud, a bird; a kind of of demigod; ap. of Siva.

චක්‍ර·වට·පර්‍වතය, චක්‍ර·වාටය, චක්‍ර·වාලය, n. a range of mountains supposed to encircle the Sakwala or system including the world, the hells, the visible heavens, and the worlds of Gods and Brahmas; boundary of the world, සකවළගල; the horizon, E. S.
