අත් අඩංගුව, n. possession, having.

අත් අඩංගුවේතබාගන්නවා, v. t. to keep possession of, retain.

අෂ්ට විද්‍යා, n. pl. the eight kinds of knowledge possessed by Rahats, viz. 1 knowledge attained by religious meditation, 2 knowledge of how to perform supernatural things, 3 knowledge of the various supernatural powers, 4 divine or supernatural hearing, 5 knowledge of others' hearts, 6 knowledge of previous existences, 7 divine sight, 8 knowledge of how to subdue the passions.

ආ විෂ්ට, a. entered, ඇතුල්වූ, ප්‍රවිෂ්‍ට; entered, viz. possessed (by a demon &c.), mad, as යක්ෂාවේශවූ.
