අ කර්‍ණ, a. earless, deaf, බිහිරි; regardless, නො සැලකිලි.

අ කෘතඥ, a. (ඥ knowing), regardless of what was done, ungrateful. E. S.

අකා මකනවා, අකා මකා අරිනවා, v. to disregard, overlook, connive at, නොසලකා අරිනවා.

අනාදරය, n. lack of affection or respect, ආද රය නැතිකම, disrespect, disregard, අවනම්බුව, සුළුකෙරීම.

අප ලාපය, n. (අප reverse, ලාප්, to speak), denial, evasion, නැතැයි කීම; secret regard, රහස් සැලකිල්ල.

ආදරගෞරවකරනවා, v. to regard or treat with affection or respect, reverence.

ආදරය, n. love, affection, regard.

ආලිස්සම්කරනවා, v. to disregard, treat with indifference, නොසලකා අරිනවා.

ඉන්ද්‍ර, ඉන්ද්‍රදෙවියෝ, ඉන්ද්‍රයා, n. the Hindu Deity Indra, regarded as the Supreme of ස්වර්‍ගය and the inferior gods.

උද්භාවනය, n. overlooking, neglect, disregard, නොසලකා ඇරීම.

උවස, n. affection, regard, ආදරය.

ඔට, n. E. of ඕෂ්ඨ: lip, තොල; regard, affection, ආදරය.

ක්ලේශය, n. any passion, desire or evil affection, අභිලාෂය, කෙලෙස්; sorrow, affliction, care, දුක. B. teaches that ක්ලේශය or desire is the root of all sin and sorrow, and renders transmigration and continued existence inevitable until all ක්ලේශ are subdued and exterminated; when that is accomplished නිර්‍වාණ or non-existence is attained. The non-attainment of it,—that is, continued conscious existence,—is regarded as a calamity, and it is the supreme object of B. and its laws and observances to effect the extermination of ක්ලේශ.

කෘතෝපකාර සලකනවා, v. to regard a kindness done, be grateful, show gratitude.
