නව·ලෝකෝත්තරධර්‍ම, n. pl. (ලෝක උත්තර), the nine world-eminent doctrines, viz. those relating to the four stages or courses of purification with their four fruitions and Nirvána. The four courses &c. are: සෝවාන් මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, සකෘදාගාමි මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, අනාගාමි මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය, අර්‍හත් මාර්‍ගය and ඵලය and නිර්‍වාණය. See each term.

නිකාරණය, n. killing, baughter, මරාදැමීම.

නණ්ඩුව, n. awn or beard of corn, as වී නණ්ඩුව.

නිසල, n. the firm, viz. the earth, පොළොව, rock, පර්‍වතය; firmness, නිශ්චලකම; harp, වීණාව.

නැගනය, n. stye, නගනය.

නගුල්·දත, n. coulter; ploughshars.

නම්බුව, n. honour.

නිර්‍වර්‍ණ, a. colourless, පාටක්නැති.

නිකට, n. chin.

නිර්නාථතාව, n. state of being without a lord; widowhood, වැන්දඹුකම.
