යජුර්‍වෙදය, n. (යජුස්වේදය), the Yajur Veda, one of the four Védas. It is divided into two parts, the black and the white, both of which are chiefly on religious rites, and its prayers are chiefly in metrical prose, යජුස්.

යූථය, n. multitude, flock, herd, සමූහය, රැළ.

යාරය, යාරුව, n. Eng. yard, measure or length of three feet, අඩිතුනක් දිග.

ය·හඬුව, n. (ය iron, හඬුව for අඬුව) smith's tongs; යකඩ අඬුව.

යුක්ති·චින්තක, a. lit. mindful of what is just, viz. scrupulous, conscientious. E. S.

යස·රුව‍ට, ad. excellently, well, beautifully, ඉතා ලක්‍ෂණට or කදිමට.

යථාහී, a, (අර්‍හ to be fit), fit, suitable, proper, සුදුසු.

යදිනවා, v. to pray, beseech, invoke; imprecate, execrate; pret. යැද්දා; p. pl. යැද‍; v. n. යැදීම, or යදීම.
