යාච්ඤාව, n. prayer, suppliction.

යටත්·පාත්, a. submissive, &c: යටත් පහත්.

යෙදෙනවා, v. t. of යොදනවා: to become formed, form; comport with, befit; to be engaged in, occupied with. It is also a verb aux. with other verbs in the infinitive, as ඕහු ලියුම ලියන්ට යෙදුණ, It occurred that he wrote the letter or he did write the letter; sp. used to unite a number of coordinate verbs, as ඔහු මේක කරන්ටත් ලියුම ලියන්ටත් යෙදුණ, he both did this and wrote the letter; pret. යෙදුණ; u. n. යෙදීම.

යහපත්, a. good, excellent, virtuous, kind; suitable.

යොන්, a. fr. යවනය: Arabian, අරාබි, Moorish, මරක්කල.

යොදේ, යොදය, n. cream of milk.

යවානික, යවානී, a. swift, rapid, යුහු, වේගවත්.

යෝත්‍රය, යෝක්ත්‍රය, n. (fr. යුජ් to join), fastener, viz. the tie or cord whith fastens the yoke to the neck of the ox.

යඥ·යෝග්‍යය, n. what is fit to be offered, having been prepared by purification &c.

යකිණි, යකිනි, n. fem. E of යක්‍ෂිණී: female demon.
