ශාක්‍ය·කුලය : ශාක්‍ය·කුලය, n. (ශක් to be able), the Mighty or Sākya race, a people so called who took their rise by separating from the kingdom of lkshwāku or Okkāka, the first king of the Hindus. They followed the four sons of their king into banishment, and finding an unoccupied district built there as their capital the city Kapilavastu.
