එසවීම, v. n. of ඔසවනවා: erecting, raising.

එක එල්ලේ, ad. at once, straightway, altogether, viz. at one and the same time.

එක පහරට, එක පාරට, එක පැහැරට, ad. at one blow, at once, immediately.

එළඹෙනවා, v. i. approach, come near to, පැමිණෙනවා, ළංවෙනවා; be impelled, prompted, පෙළඹෙනවා; pret. එළඹුණා.

එක් හෙළි, a. open, uncovered, එළිවූ, exposed, මුවාවක් නැති.

එයා, pron. mas. that person or fellow, he (low).

එක්කෙනා, pron. mas. the one person.

එ, n. The eleventh letter of the alphabet: a pure short vowel having the sound of e as heard in met. Its non-initial form (‍ෙ) is written before the consonant it vocalizes, as ‍දෙන් den, මෙන් men.

එරවනවා, v. t. to cause to sink (in mud &c.); කිරි...to send down the milk to the udder; pret. එරෙවුවා.

එල්ලෙනවා, v. i. to be hanged or suspended, hang down, depend; pret. එල්ලුණා.
