එකස්කරනවා, v. t. to put upon one side, as a B. P. his robes, leaving one arm bare.

ඛානුව, n. bare trunk of a tree, කඳ; post, pillar, කණුව.

තනි·වියදම, n. bare cost, net cost.

නිර්‍වවස්ත්‍රකරනවා, v. t. to make naked, bare, denude.

පංච·ස්කන්‍ධ, n. pl. the five divisions or constituents of man: රූපස්කන්‍ධය &c., viz, රූපය, the body; වේදනාස්කන්‍ධය, feeling, perception; සංඥාස්කන්‍ධය, bare recognition or apprehension; සංස්කාරස්කන්‍ධය, moral or mental state, as of covetousness or doubt &c. to the number of fifty different states; විඥනස්ක න්‍ධය, knowledge, consciousness. The five are divided into two parts, නාම and රූප, of which four ස්කන්‍ධ, portions, belong to නාමය or the mind.

පැ‍හැර·කරනවා, v. t. to strip, make bare, denude.

පිරිමැසෙනවා, පිරිමැහෙනවා, v. i. to eke out, suffice, be barely sufficient; prct. පිරිමැසුණ or පිරිමැහුණ.

මුඩු, මුඩුක, a. shaved, bald, bare; rancid, fetid, පිළුනු.

මුඩු·සෙවෙණ, a. bare of shade, viz. roofless, සෙවිලිනැති.

මුඩුකරනවා, v. t. to make bald or bare, shave the head.

යන්තම්, යම්තම්, n. some degree, somewhat, a very little, ඩිංගිත්තක්; as adv. very bightly, ස්වල්පවශයෙන්; scarcely, barely, narrowly, hardly, only just: as යන්තම් ගැළ වුණ, only just escaped.

සංඛ·මුණ්ඩකය, n. (·මුඩ් to shave, bare), conch-shaving or baring, viz. one of the thirty-two punishments inflieted on criminals, rubbing the head with gravel till it is as bare of flesh as a conch shell.
