සහෝකතිය, n. (සහ with, උක්තිය utterance), combined utterance, either connecting word by means of සහ or using a word in a double sense.

සඟිය, n. (cp. සංගීතී), compilation, collection, සංග්‍රහය, sp. the five Sangis or divisions of Buddha's teachings, called දික්, මැදුම්, සංයුත්, අංගෝත්තර and කුදුගොත්. To these are added commentaries and glosses, and the difficult passages of these again are explained in other works called ග්‍රන්‍ථිපද, knotty passages.

සමස්ත·ශාස්ත්‍ර·ශාලාව, n. university, සියලු ශාස්ත්‍ර උගන්වන ශාලාව.

සක්ඛලිත, a. fettered &c., see ශංඛලිත.

ස·රූප, a. (ස for ස්ව same), of the same form, resembling, සමාන.

සිද්ධි, n. accomplishment, fulfilment, completion, success, ඉෂ්ටවීම, සිද්ධවීම, සඵලත්‍වය; occurrence, event, effect, සිද්ධවුදේ; Nirvana, නිර්‍වාණය.

සවනය, n. religious bathing: sacrifice, offering, පූජාව.

සං·වාදික, a. accordant with logic, logical, තර්‍ක ශාස්ත්‍රයට අනුකූල.

සම්මූර්‍චඡනය, n. (සං emp., මූ:), stupefaction, torpor, insensibility, ප්‍රමෝහය; fainting, ක්ලාන්තය, මූර්‍චඡනය.

සුරතල, n. infantile fond sport or talk, caress, fondling.
